I’ve created this video to explain what Socially-Conscious Change Makers are…
There’s a certain need to explain what Socially-Conscious Change Makers (SCCMs) are.
As I’ve experienced, when a social entrepreneur is a SCCM, s/he identifies her/himself easily as such when s/he read the lines or hears about what defines us. Otherwise, it seems difficult for the entrepreneur to click with our explanation… Anyhow, this is ok for me, because at the end our target customer IS the SCCM and we want her/him to know that s/he’s not alone in this quest of positive impact making.
As well as the Social Entrepreneur, we SCCMs work toward changing a certain situation. However, we SCCMs are evolution driven: we define our projects through our own growth and the evolution of others. We are here to serve others to positively transform what we want to change. We become the change we want to see in the world. Our projects continuously evolve, as we do. They are not static solutions, they are continuously adapting to the requirements of our clients as our surrounding adjusts to the positive impact we are providing through our service.
I had some confusion in differentiating the Positive iMPACT Maker from the Socially-Conscious Change Maker. I had defined these 2 concepts and I didn’t know quite well how to relate both of them. Or better said, I did, but I missed the simplicity of things: all Social Entrepreneurs (including ourselves) are Positive iMPACT Makers! That’s so simple! :)
