Yesterday, i got caught up in my personal story, and i was drastically awakened from it! There is always another view of what is happening to you.

i felt frustrated at work because my vision differed from the company's regarding what it means to grow people. For me, growing the business means growing its people, individually and then collectively. For them, it is growing the business, full stop.

i observed myself when they explained to me how growth happens. i bit my tongue, checked my thoughts, tried not to be triggered, and stayed calm when responding. However, my frustration grew stronger, although i knew that life was showing me that it is time to move along.

This all changed in the evening when i had a call with a friend who was a former guest of the Leadership Circle Podcast.

i connected to the call and saw him talking to me in the car. He explained to me that he was momentarily homeless, with his three kids living in the car. However, he was happy and in freedom, as he did not owe anything to anyone, and every day, he was gifted with grace.

His energy level was high, and his power of being, with all the light he carried within, was projected onto me. As you can imagine, my frustration disappeared as my perception changed immediately.

My friend lives with joy, honesty, clarity, and humility. He feels liberated and enjoys every moment in gratitude for what life offers him.

He told me Tony Robbins' quote yesterday.

He is a true leader, the example he wants to see for himself and his children. He is the example i want to see in the world.

He gave it to me. i am deeply grateful to have him in my life.

Yesterday, they were able to sleep in a hotel. It was the least i could do for them.
